Acne is most commonly found on the face and body although it can appear on other parts of the body as well. The severity of acne depends on how deep it is into the skin. A mild case might be just a few pimples while severe cases may cause permanent scarring.

One way to treat acne is to use a chemical peel that removes dead skin cells from the surface of your skin. Another way to treat acne is with over-the-counter medications such as benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid.
