A 24-YEAR-OLD woman who was found with nearly 2,000 sick images of children has avoided jail.
Jasmine Rowbottom, from Dudley in the West Midlands, had tried to claim they were installed by a virus on her computer.
She was arrested after officers from the Online Child Exploitation Team searched her home on June 6, 2016.
More than 50 pieces of computer equipment were then examined.
She denied the offences and claimed the pictures must have been caused by a virus on her PC or via a USB stick given to her years before.
Specialist forensic examiners were able to prove she was lying.
