HITCHIKER’S Guide to the Galaxy actor Stephen Moore has died at the age of 81.
Mr Moore is most well known for being the voice of Marvin the Paranoid Android in radio and TV adaptations of the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

He also played Kevin the Teenager’s dad in Harry Enfield and Chums as well as Silurian Eldane in Doctor Who.
Paying tribute to Mr Moore Dirk Maggs wrote: “Our dear friend Stephen Moore has died.
“A fine actor, a lovely man and the original and most iconic voice of Marvin The Paranoid Android in The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy.

Another fan added: “Stephen Moore had such a delicious voice that was put to so good use in radio, TV, film and theatre.
“But nowhere was it more recognisable than in Hitch-Hikers.’ What a legend. RIP.”
“Our thoughts are with his family and our memories of him will always make us smile. RIP Stephen.”
