A FAKE traffic warden has been dishing out home-made parking tickets – after getting fed up with cars on his residential street.
The unnamed vigilante left scraps of paper on windscreens on Deans Hill, Chepstow asking drivers to pay a £50 fine.
It said: “The fine is £50 and police advised.
“The traffic order is now enforceable and non-resident vehicles are being issued with fixed penalty fines.”
Motorist Philip Moseley, 37, found a “ticket” on his car after parking in Deans Hill, Chepstow, for 90 minutes.
He said: “There are a lot of annoyed people about this. If there is an order, there are no signs up.
“I sympathise with with residents who have little space to park during busy times like the school run.
“But I am concerned about the idea of somebody taking justice into their own hands.
