Desperate hunt for missing ‘kidnap victim’ seen being snatched and forced into BMW in South London as four are arrested

A DESPERATE hunt has been launched after a man was snatched off the street and forced into a BMW in South East London.

The man was pulled into the car in Peckham just after 2.30pm on Sunday – with the search for him extending into its second day.

Four men have since been arrested on suspicion of kidnap.

It is understood the victim was on Kinsale Road near to the junction of Dewar Street, just before 2.30pm, when he was snatched.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “A witness reported seeing a male being forced into a black BMW car by three other males. The car then drove off in the direction of Dewar Street before turning into Fenwick Road and Amott Road.

“Fast-time investigative work led to police recovering the vehicle, registration YE19 NDX, and four men, no further details, have been arrested on suspicion of kidnap.

“All four remain in custody at this time.”
