A WOMAN who was branded fat on a Tinder date gone wrong has opened her heart to love again and is starring in a new online dating show.
Jade Savage, 28, spent almost four hours travelling to see a bloke she had met online but he insulted her as she walked out of the train station.
The Sun told last month how Jade managed to raise £1,000 on a GoFundMe page, which she set up as a joke, to get her wasted £93 that she spent going on her date.
The creep, 27, told curvy size-14 Jade she had “put some weight on” and accused her of looking nothing like she had on a previous date — just four weeks earlier.
They went to his motor where the car salesman again accused her of being fat before scrapping the date when she told him he was being rude.
She was already having a bad day getting to Peterborough from her home 41 miles away in Syston, Leics, because she missed the coach from Leicester and had to get a train.
The pair, who had been out together a few times before, were meant to be going for drinks but the rendezvous was over in just five minutes.
But mum-of-one Jade, from Leicestershire, hasn’t let the disastrous date dampen her spirits – and has been on two dates handpicked for her while appearing on Dating SOS.
The online show, set up by Badoo, sees Jade go on two dates with men that the dating app experts have chosen for her.
Talking to show host Rio Fredrika, Jade revealed she has been single for 18 months, and loves her job at a Challenging Behaviour Unit in Leicestershire.
She said: “When you first meet a date, you expect to hear how are you, you look well… But I was hit by ‘Bloody hell, you have put some weight on haven’t you?’
“My mates were laughing with me, saying, ‘You’ve paid £90 to go to Peterborough, be called fat and then get sent home.’ It was the worst and shortest date I’ve been on.

“I could easily have gone home and cried or even worse not eaten for days after the way I had been treated – but I decided not to do that.
“When Badoo asked me to go on these dates to help me restore my faith in men, I jumped at the chance.
“It was wonderful to meet two gentlemen who were interesting, attentive and didn’t just want to focus on my looks.”
Curvy size-14 Jade went bowling with engineer Ray,25, from London, and learned how to mix up a storm with photographer Chris, 38, from Southampton.
After both dates Jade added: “I’m not looking for the ideal man – I’m looking for the ideal relationship. You need to be happy and confident about yourself first and then the rest will come.’
“There was a very funny moment when Chris was asked to come up with two truths and a lie, and he took forever to work out his lie – I guess that can only be a good sign!”
“Ray was definitely my type, and if the opportunity were to arise, I would love to see him again – let’s see.”
Speaking about the new show, Tristan Pineiro, Head of Comms from Badoo said: “We fell in love with Jade during filming, and hope to be able to work with her more in the future – we think she’s an absolute star.
