Man, 19, fighting for life after fall from student halls balcony in Nottingham

A TEEN has been rushed to hospital after falling from a student balcony in Nottingham in the early hours of this morning.

The 19-year-old suffered life-threatening injuries at 3.48am at Nottingham Trent University’s Hampden student halls.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said: “A 19-year-old man has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after falling from the balcony of a property in Nottingham.

“We were called to Hampden Street at 3.48am today (Saturday 5 October 2019).

“A scene has been set up while we continue with our enquiries.

“At this time we are not treating the incident as suspicious. The man’s family has been informed.

“If anyone has any information about the incident we’d ask them to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 115 of 5 October 2019.”
