AN ex-Tory MP who was falsely accused of child murder walked out of an interview with BBC’s Naga Munchetty “because she refused to let him speak”.
Harvey Proctor, 72, appeared on the Breakfast show this morning, to discuss the fallout of the fake VIP paedophile ring accusations that left him in “complete devastation”.
Speaking on the programme via video link, he called for Met Commissioner Cressida Dick to come on the programme so they can debate the Met’s handling of the case.
But he walked off, claiming she did not give him the chance to speak.
He told her: “I respect your work very much, but you must not invite people onto your programme and then not allow them to speak.”
She said she was giving him a right for reply, but he added: “I’m not having this, I’m sorry.”
Before [he walked off] he managed to expose that Cressida Dick was a liar!

Viewers took to Twitter to empathise with Proctor, claiming he is “elderly” and had “been through a nightmare”.
James Holmes said: “Oops Harvey Proctor walks out on interview with Naga Munchetty on @BBCBreakfast.
“Got to say Naga could have handled it with more sensitivity.
“He is elderly, been through a nightmare at the hands of incompetent police, which she admitted at the end.”
Rogfer Ellis added: “I agree. That was a very poor interview: insensitive; domineering and , in style, adversarial as if he was being tried instead of the Met.
“I wonder if she would have been more sympathetic to someone (probably female) who claimed to have been abused. All sympathy to Harvey Proctor.”
But many supported Naga, saying he managed to call Cressida Dick a “liar”.
Jo Smith tweeted: “Did you watch BBC Breakfast interview with Harvey Proctor ? He was so disgusted at not being allowed to fully answer the questions that he got up and walked out ,saying”I m not having this!”Before this he managed to expose that Cressida Dick was a liar!

It follows a Channel 4 interview last night, when Proctor told of the emotional devastation he felt since police first searched his house.
He said: “It was torture for me.
“It [the probe] meant for nine months people believed that the Metropolitan Police thought that I was a child serial murderer. That is a very deep onerous burden to have.
“I refuse to accept Cressida Dick’s apology. I haven’t heard the terms of the Metropolitan Police’s apology today. They didn’t have the decency to let me know what they were going to say.
“[It was] Complete devastation. I know I’m not the same person I was, I do not know whether I can recover, I’m not sure I have the time to recover.
“I believe I will think about this on the day I die.”
Mr Proctor has launched a a £1million lawsuit against the Met Police for hounding him over the fake child sex claims.
