DISTRESSING footage reveals the moment a woman weeps to a police officer that no-one will believe she has been raped because she is drunk.

The chilling film, which was shown on BBC’s The Met: Policing London last night, shows the victim on a bus telling the officer she has been attacked by a stranger who said he had a knife.

The suspect was later jailed for ten years over the rape

She stopped the driver of an N68 bus in Selhurst, South London to tell him she has been attacked after the rapist approached her on another bus.

The rapist, Aaron Davis, was later jailed for ten years for the attack.

In the footage, the victim is heard telling a female police officer: “I got raped in the park. At the bus stop before.

“And he said he was going to kill me. He grabbed me and pulled me down the lane and smacked my head on the floor.

“And he said if you don’t have sex with me I’m going to kill you, I’ve got a knife in my pocket.

“No-one is going to believe me because I’m drunk.”

The police officer is then heard saying: “We’re here to help you, to try and help you through what’s happened.

“You’re safe now, alright”.

Emergency calls are played in the programme, with one witness alerting cops to the sex attack.

In one 999 call a woman says: “There’s a lady being attacked. I can just hear a man telling her to be quiet.

“He’s got her on the floor. She’s opposite the car wash. You need to get the police here. You need to hurry up.”

According to the BBC programme, the victim got off the bus after being woken up by a man on the bus who claimed she had missed her stop.

A resident nearby told police she heard a disturbance and a man and a woman arguing.

The victim was then raped in a park after being forced to the ground by Davis who approached her on the bus.

She then gets on another bus and calls the police as Davis escapes.

Footage taken afterwards shows Davis trying to wake up someone in a nearby house, climbing up the wall so he can get in.

He is later arrested, with cops discovering a scarf he was seen wearing on his head at the time of the rape.

Davis pleaded guilty to two offences of rapes and one of sexual assault.

He was jailed for ten years and nine months.
