A LAD has been banned from classes for going to school with a Peaky Blinders-style haircut.
Robbie Kerr, 12, was put on “internal exclusion” — allowed on school premises but not in classes — after getting the short back and sides.

Richard Rose Academy in Carlisle said hair should be no shorter than a grade two cut.
Robbie is excluded until his hair grows out.
Mum Andrea said: “I think it’s outrageous. How does a haircut affect his learning?

“I think the rules are daft. They’re too strict.”
A school spokesman said: “This academic year, we introduced a new behaviour and uniform policy which has been widely communicated to students and their families and which the vast majority have supported.
“Where students do not adhere to our policy, they are briefly withdrawn from mainstream lessons in order to maintain the highest standards of learning across the rest of the academy.”
