HOBBYISTS tempted to make a Peter Rabbit quilt with a weekly magazine will end up paying more than £440 over two years.
The Peter Rabbit Patchwork Quilt partwork is 99p for the first edition and £2.99 for the second.

But the price then rises to £4.99 for a further 88 issues, a total cost of £443.10.
It is fortnightly for the first nine issues, then weekly — so it will take two years to complete.
Publisher Hachette also offers “premium” subscription deals — meaning it could cost as much as £522.10 to make the 82in by 69in quilt featuring the Beatrix Potter character.
