A CRICKET team has been relegated after it accused another side of mocking its one-handed batsman.
Swanscombe and Greenhithe player Adam Harding said he was abused and taunted.

The dad of two, born with no fingers on his left hand, claimed one opponent asked: “Do you want a hand with that?” as he struggled with his bat.
His club abandoned the game and lodged a complaint — but was docked ten points by the league after the other side claimed they cheated by doing so to avoid losing.
It was enough to relegate them, while their opponents, who were also docked ten points, were still crowned champions.
Trouble flared when Swanscombe travelled to Dulwich to play Barbados Overseas Cricket Association in the Kent Regional Cricket League.

Finance manager Adam, 37, said: “I was being abused and mocked almost from the very start. I hadn’t been spoken to like that since I was 12.”
BOCA claimed there was a comment by one of its players which had been misunderstood.
But the league punished both sides for bringing the game into disrepute. It said: “Both clubs condone sledging and cheating.”
