A TEENAGER allegedly sexually assaulted his mum after watching chimps mate on a Channel 4 show, a court heard.
The 18-year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons, told his mum he “couldn’t stop thinking about having sex with her”, while watching The Secret Life of The Zoo.
Hull Crown Court heard the teen, who was 16 at the time of the offences, then told his mum he had seen a video of her and his dad having sex, on his dad’s phone.
The teen has been charged with sexual assault in relation to the alleged incident which took place on January 4 2018.
Prosecuting, Mr Lowe said: “He told her that since he had seen the video of her having sex with her ex-partner [his dad], he couldn’t stop thinking about having sex with her and raping her.”
The woman, who spoke from behind a screen in court, said she told the boy, “I’m you mam”.
I told him to stop and tried pushing him back but he was so strong and I could hear him breathing really heavily in my right ear.
The woman giving evidence at Hull Crown Court
She said she walked away from him, into the kitchen “to let him think about what he’d said”, but she claims, “he just looked at me like he’d done nothing wrong”, Hull Daily Mail reported.
After she had been in the kitchen for a few minutes, “drying some pots”, she told the court “that’s when he came up to me”.
“He came up behind me and put his hands under my armpits and then that’s when he started touching my right breast and was pushing me against the draining board, and rubbing himself up and down me, his genitals in contact with my body.
“I told him to stop and tried pushing him back but he was so strong and I could hear him breathing really heavily in my right ear.
“He stopped, didn’t say anything just moved away and went into the living room. I don’t know how long the incident was, it felt like forever.”
He tried to say he was sorry but you were too upset with him and then decided to ring the police but what had happened between you two was an accident
Defence lawyer Charlotte Baines
The woman, who has three other children, said she barricaded herself in her bedroom, pushing a set of drawers behind the door, as she called the police and the boy’s dad.
As he left the house, she said a 999 operator advised her to lock the front door, which she claims she did.
Defence barrister Charlotte Baines suggested an argument had taken place, claiming the mum took the boy’s phone off him, making her irritated.
After he tried to take the phone off his mum, Ms Baines suggested he accidentally pulled down her top, exposing her breast.
Ms Baines told the court: “He tried to say he was sorry but you were too upset with him and then decided to ring the police but what had happened between you two was an accident.”
Refuting all of the woman’s claims, Ms Baines said: “I’m going to suggest that you have told the jury that you were watching the episode where a couple of chimps were mating and I’m going to suggest that you got that wrong and that didn’t happen on the show did it?”
The woman replied, “Yes it did”.
‘I WAS A MESS’
Ms Baines continued: “As a consequence, he didn’t make any comment about a sex video and that is not true and I suggest any evidence you have given about him saying he was thinking about having sex with you that’s just not true.
“He didn’t say that to you on that day or any day at all did he?”
The woman said: “Yes, he did.”
Ms Baines then questioned the statements the woman gave to police.
In the first statement, the woman told officers the boy had touched both of her breasts, but in the second, she said he touched one of them.
Recalling the incident, the woman told the court e touched both, but had only squeezed one.
She said during her first statement she was a “mess” and was “crying hysterically”.

The 18-year-old has also been charged with engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child and exposure in an alleged incident that happened on December 30 2017.
His sister, who was 10 at the time of the incident, appeared in court via a TV link and said her brother had exposed his genitals in front of her, telling her, “oh, oh, look, look”.
But when their mum was coming into the living room, he quickly pulled up his boxer shorts and jogging bottoms.
On a second occasion, she said the boy “kept asking” her to go with him to the shop, even whispering it to her on one occasion.
She told the court she chose to sleep in her mum’s room after the incident because she was “scared”.
The trial continues.
