A WOMAN appeared in court today accused of stabbing a dad to death three weeks before his wife gave birth to their second child.
Kelly Gray, 31, is accused of murdering 23-year-old David Gavin following a fight in Rochdale on May 17.

She appeared at Manchester Crown Court today via video link and was remanded in custody to appear again on December 6 ahead of a trial on March 16.
David was rushed to hospital with stab wounds at around 8.55pm but tragically couldn’t be saved.
His heartbroken wife Bridget gave birth to their second daughter Mary just three weeks later.
She shared a photo of the newborn daughter he would never meet next to a photo of her husband.
David, who worked as a landscape gardener, already had a three-year-old daughter Elizabeth, who he doted on.
Paying tribute, Bridget said: “I am just traumatised. It is more than devastating.
“It is just incredibly difficult because every time I look at her I cry because I can see him so much.
“Every plan I had for the future was with him – and now that’s been taken away from me.
“I can’t even really put into words how I am feeling.

“My family are the only things getting me through it all.
“If I didn’t have my little girls, I don’t know how I would be here.”
David’s devastated brother Gavin, 18, said his death has “destroyed his family”, adding: “He was a well-loved bloke in Rochdale, he’s loved everywhere.”
