OLIVIA Attwood has hit back at Sam Mucklow after he said she should leave Towie, claiming he “tried to strangle” someone on the show.

The Love Island star, 28, had been accused of bringing down the tone of the show after joining this series – with Sam saying she belongs on something like Geordie Shore instead.

But Olivia slammed his comments and ranted:  “From the boy who tried to strangle someone on the first ep. Give me a day off.”

Sam expressed his feelings towards Olivia after she was embroiled in a huge bust-up on the ITVbe show with Courtney Green.

He told the MailOnline: “I don’t have anything against her and I don’t dislike her but if I’m honest I don’t think she is good for TOWIE.

“The show is a bit classier than other reality shows and I feel like Liv is bringing something we’ve not really had before.

“I think she would be more at home on Ex on the Beach or Geordie Shore.”

Courtney’s BFF Chloe Meadows agreed adding: “She may not like being called trashy but then she should act with some class. Her behaviour has been trashy.”

Last week Olivia insisted she wasn’t a bully after viewers accused her of “abusive” behaviour.

The Sun Online revealed  that Olivia got a dressing-down from Towie bosses when she picked up a bowl of nibbles in rage and threw olives at Courtney.

She said: “I just feel like they don’t like me at all. There was some agg after Sunday night’s episode after Pete [Wicks] and I were branded bullies.

“Bully for me is such a big word. It is such a sensitive conversation. I noticed they were retweeting and liking comments on social media that I was a bully and that really annoyed me.

“I am a lot of things but I am not a bully. It is not bullying to have an opinion, they are two different things.”
