SUSANNA Reid refused to kiss Piers Morgan live on Good Morning Britain today after he revealed their secret feud.
The 47-year-old presenter had previously admitted crying over trolls attacking her for his divisive opinions.
And today, Susanna held up signs that told viewers about their off-scree struggles, and one said it takes: “A lot of prayer, a lot of patience” to work with the 54-year-old/
But Susanna decided to end her message on a high note as her final sign said: “But… there’s no one else I’d rather be interrupted by.”
Piers took her compliment as a good sign and leaned over as he said to Susanna: “Aww give us a kiss!” but she recoiled and threw him a disgusted look.
It comes after the Good Morning Britain presenters suffered a year of tension as they struggled to gel on and off camera.
“She was the queen bee and I was the alpha male,” Piers told Event Magazine.
“I felt I needed to shake her up a bit. But then I realised it went a bit too far.”
Despite soaring TV figures with Piers’ feisty on-screen rants, Susanna found it tough to cope with the online trolls who attacked because of HIS opinions.
“People were saying horrific things about me, saying I wasn’t a feminist,” explained Susanna.
“Of course I am a feminist. And since when is it a feminist policy to blame the woman? I found the whole thing deeply upsetting.”
After months of butting heads, the pair finally thrashed it out over a drink in the pub and agreed to resolve their differences.
Piers said: “Basically we got drunk in The Groucho Club and behaved appallingly. Then we went off to a load of gay bars in Soho and got even more drunk. And everything got sorted out.”
But Piers still insists some of the hidden tension was sexual.
He joked: “Well if we were both single we’d be at it like stoats in a sack.”
The comment made the front page of the magazine, with Piers’ wife Celia commenting: The headline every wife wants to read on a Sunday morning #mythoughtsarewithsusanna.”
Meanwhile Susanna still describes Piers as “the most irritating man in the world”.
But the host does admit she has been “liberated” since she stopped holding back her opinions.
She added: “Working with him has changed the way I am. But we’ve just got to know each other better and understand each other more.”

The positive change has led to Good Morning Britain’s highest-ever ratings as well as two Bafta nominations this year.
Although Piers warned Bafta it would be the “biggest travesty in awards show history” if he went home empty handed – unfortunately he still did.
It led him to lash out at “pathetic and spineless” BBC bosses who failed to show their News Coverage nomination on the main programme.
