Speaking in the clip, Simon said: “It’s time for something different.”

Former TOWIE star Megan McKenna is hoping the programme will give her the big break she has been dreaming of, after she released her debut album Story of Me in December 2018.

She said: “This is the biggest opportunity I have ever had in my entire life.”

Megan, 26, launched her own ITVBe show There’s Something About Megan, which followed her trip to Nashville in a bid to propel her music career.

Glee star Kevin McHale – who played Artie Abrams – is also set to take to the stage in the upcoming show.

He said: “The X Factor terrifies me.”

Kevin will be a familiar face for Nicole, as during his time with boyband NLT he opened Pussycat Dolls show in 2007, and released his own solo 12 years later titled Help Me Now.

Journalist Martin Bashir will put his vocals to the test on Celebrity X Factor, 24 years after he rose to prominence following his interview with the late Princess Diana.

Speaking about the upcoming venture, Victoria said: “Singing will always be my first love.”

Olivia Olson – who is known for starring in Love Actually as Joanna – as well as Hayley Hassellhoff, and Vinnie Jones will belt out the ballads to impress the harsh judges.

The Chase’s Vixen, Jenny Ryan, will also appear in the series, alongside Strictly Come Dancing professional Brendan Cole who has joined forces with Jeremy Edwards to form a double act, as well as influencers Max and Harvey who shot to fame on the app three years ago.

A string of talented stars have created supergroups for the star-studded show.

Sportsmen Thom Evans, Ben Foden and Levi Davis will be forming a trio, while influencers Sofia, Alondra, Laura, Natalie and Wendii will provide some friendly competition.

Last year’s Love Island stars Wes Nelson, Samira Mighty, Eyal Booker and Zara McDermott will be forming a group to showcase their talents when the show airs.
