The soap star – who plays David Platt in the ITV show – wasn’t afraid to go heavy on the romance after whisking the blonde away to Edinburgh for the weekend.

Documenting their trip on Instagram, Jack, 31, spoiled his ITV colleague to a slap-up meal at The Dome, before declaring his love for her on their hotel window.

But the special surprises didn’t end there as he also treated Hanni to dinner at The Ivy.

It’s just the latest in a string of lavish breaks the pair have had in recent months.

The loved-up couple also enjoyed trips to the Dominican Republic, New York City, and Mykonos earlier this summer.

Their Greek holiday was also shared with Jack’s two children from a previous relationship.

He is a dad to to 10-year-old Nyla and Reuben, six, with his ex-girlfriend Lauren Shippey who he split with in 2017, the same year he struck up a romance with Hanni.

Jack also has another son called Greyson, who was born in 2010.

Life certainly isn’t imitating art for the actor as David Platt’s dark prison storyline is set to grow even more sinister.

The Sun revealed earlier this month that Coronation Street viewers will see a riot at the prison where David is being held.

during the clashes David comes face-to-face with Josh Tucker, the man who raped him, who is stabbed in a melee.

To make matters worse, David’s family watch the drama unfold on the news as police surround the prison.
