It immediately sparked a reaction from fans with one asking: “Is Jess in labour?”

Another commented: “Is bubba on the way??? sending positive vibes!”

The couple told how Jess, 26 was pregnant with their first child together in May after meeting on series three of the ITV2 dating show back in 2017.

Last night Dom, 28 took to Instagram to reveal that their little one is now in fact late.

In the video posted on Instagram the pair can be seen watching an episode of Friends where a heavily pregnant Rachel is over due – and Dom went on to compare it to their current situation.

He captioned the clip: “Totally us right now.”

He then panned the camera over at the glowing mum-to-be in a cosy pink dressing-gown cradling her new born as she laughed at the television screen.

The love birds embarked on their whirlwind romance on Love Island and have proved that their relationship is going from strength to strength – despite the rumours that Jess hooked up with Mike Thalassitis whilst Dom was still in the villa.

After leaving the villa the pair stayed together and proved their relationship was real after they got married on Good Morning Britain in a ceremony on Valentines Day 2018.

The reality stars then properly tied the knot in October last year at a stunning ceremony on the Greek Island of Mykonos.

They then found out in January that Jess was pregnant but decided to announce their happy news later on in May.

They took to Instagram and each posted the same picture of their child’s ultrasound scan flanked by Polaroids of them cradling their ‘bumps’.

Dom captioned his one: “Living the dream ” while 25-year-old Jess told fans: “The best is yet to come.”

Despite the happy news, it was revealed that they kept it to themselves in case they experienced any complications in the pregnancy due to a rare blood type – RH Negative.

It was explained that their child could develop rhesus disease, where the mother’s blood cells attempt to destroy the baby’s blood cells leading to anaemia and jaundice.

Jess explained: “I have found it a bit daunting. Even up until I started to feel a kick more regularly. I was like, ‘Is everything OK?!”

“Even after you’ve had your scans and you can see everything’s fine you always worry until you can feel the baby moving.

“We’ve been sat there of an evening with a stethoscope on!”

The sex of the baby has yet to been revealed as the dad-to-be was not keen on finding out as Dom has said: “I don’t want to find out the sex, I want it to be like Christmas day, a surprise!”
