A LABOUR MP was suspended last night after party chiefs launched a sexual harassment probe.
An investigation was ordered after a complaint was filed to officials into backbencher Mike Hill, it is understood.

The alleged female victim has also contacted the police over her claims, which could spark an investigation by them.
Hill, 56, has been the MP for Hartlepool since the 2017 General Election.
It is the latest in a string of similar claims against MPs.

The Labour party now operates a helpline dedicated to sexual harassment allegations.
A spokesman last night said: “We cannot comment on individual complaints.”
Hill has declined to comment.
