THE Politician will be coming to your screens VERY SOON as it debuts next week.
And with an all-star cast including Gwyneth Paltrow, it’s set to be a must-watch. Here’s what we know about the new Netflix comedy series and how to watch it…

When does The Politician drop on Netflix?
The good news is The Politician will be dropping very soon.
That’s right, you’ll be able to enjoy the new comedy series next week on September 27, 2019.
The show – which is created by Brad Falchuk, Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan – will be available to stream on Netflix, which has commissioned two seasons.
What’s The Politician about?
The Politician follows wealthy high school kid Payton Hobart from Santa Barbara as he pursues his ambition of being the President of the United States.
However before he manages to make it into the White House, he must first survive the politics of high school.
Netflix’s official synopsis of the series is as follows: “Rich kid Payton has always known he’s going to be president.
“But first he has to navigate the most treacherous political landscape of all: high school.”

Who’s in the cast with Gwyneth Paltrow?

Pitch Perfect star Ben Platt takes on the lead role of Payton Hobart, the high school teen with grande political aspirations.
Speaking about working alongside Hollywood heavyweight Gwyneth Paltrow– who plays his mum Georgina Hobart – he said: “She really took me under her wing in a very maternal way
“And I really loved the scenes we had together it’s some of my favourite stuff in the series.”
Also starring in the show is Zoey Deutch who plays Infinity Jackson and Lucy Boynton who takes on the role of Astrid Sloan.
While Jessica Lange plays Dusty Jackson and Tony Award winner Bette Midler, Dylan McDermott and January Jones all guest star in the glitzy series.
