AJ Pritchard has revealed his girlfriend isn’t afraid of the Strictly curse as he danced with Ben Shephard on Good Morning Britain today.
Presenter Ben, 44, told how his wife won’t allow him to sign up over fears the curse would strike their marriage as he chatted to AJ and his brother Curtis.

But AJ, who is partnered with pretty YouTuber Saffron Barker, told the host: “For me, the love for dance, I throw everything into that side of it. My girlfriend Abby, she’s a dancer as well.
“She goes away and does her dancing she understands the long hours and hard work. We always want the dance on Saturday to be the best dance possible. She’s not worried at all.”
And AJ was more than happy to dance with Ben when Kate Garraway told viewers Strictly will allow same sex couples in 2020.

AJ quipped “come on, we have to do this!” as he grabbed Ben by the hands.
For the last few years, the BBC One dancing show has faced increasing demands to allow couples of the same-sex to dance together.
But bosses have done a U-turn after realising other nations had embraced the idea, such as Dancing With The Stars in Australia, which most recently saw drag artist Courtney Act dance with a male professional.
So far, the only time same-sex dancing has occurred on Strictly was during a professional group routine on last year’s series, which was positively received by viewers.

Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood has spoken of his desire to see same-sex couples on the show on a number of occasions in the past.
Last year, he said: “I think more and more people want it – maybe the BBC will be brave enough one day to do it.”
And 2018 contestant, Dr Ranj Singh, also said he would like to see men and women take to the floor together in the future.
He said: “I would love to dance with a same-sex partner.”
