LOVE Island’s Wes Nelson says he couldn’t give a “flying monkeys” what “petty” ex Megan Barton-Hanson says about him as he’s too happy with current girlfriend Arabella Chi.

The reality star, 21, spoke to The Sun Online at the launch of The Couture Club at Westfield Stratford shopping centre in London on Wednesday.

This comes after Megan, 25, told a crowd of people that she was impressed with Wes‘ “good d**k” but “hates him now”.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online, Wes said: “I absolutely do not give a flying monkey that she is making comments about me all the time. I take no notice.

“Remember I am 21 and I have been the mature one and not said anything. I could say numerous things that would try and take a dig at her but I am not that person.

“I’m here to enjoy my life and be prosperous in my career and find someone who is absolutely incredible and that is what I have done.”

Megan made headlines earlier in the week for making lewd comments about ex-boyfriend Wes while speaking about her current girlfriend, Chelcee Grimes, 27.

Speaking to Cherry Healey during a Q&A at Ann Summers’ Pleasure Positivity Project, the former stripper said: “Before Love Island I used to date guys with long hair that looked like they hadn’t washed for a few days.

“And then I got with like the six-pack Adonis, who is so gorgeous from every angle and that willy, I’ve never seen one like that!  As much as I hate him now, that was a good d**k!”

However, the Staffordshire hunk gushed over his new beau Arabella Chi, who he has been dating for two months.

He continued: “She is a godsend. We are not just saying it for the cameras. She is a goddess.

“Don’t get me wrong, she is drop dead gorgeous and stunning but she has that gentleness.

“I am a relationship boy and I’ve been in a lot of relationships and I have never had a connection like this, where there are no disagreements or arguments. No raised voices.

“We understand each other.”

Not only have they already said they love each other and been on their first holiday to Ibiza together earlier this month, they have more plans in the works.

While marriage may not be on the cards quite yet for the relationship, a house together is probably coming in the near future.

The star said: “I am not planning to propose but there is no blueprint. There isn’t a consensus to how many years until we get married. We are taking it at our own pace.

“We are practically living together now and we are looking for places to move in together.”

Wes sparked up a romance with Megan in Love Island 2018, however the pair split earlier this year.

He then moved onto Arabella, meeting the model after her stint in the 2019 version of the ITV dating show.

Megan tried to find love on Channel 4’s Celebs Go Dating and sparked a brief romance with Towie’s Chloe Sims.

After a messy break up, she hooked up with Chelcee Grimes – one of Chloe Sims’ friends.
