THE partner of writer Margaret Atwood has died aged 85 after losing his battle with dementia.

Graeme Gibson, 85, passed away yesterday in London surrounded by loved ones, publishing firm Doubleday said.

His death comes just a week after the release of his long-term partner’s new book The Testaments which follows her awar-winning The Hand Maid’s Tale.
