CORONATION Street’s Katie McGlynn had a funeral wreath for Sinead Tinker at her star-studded leaving party.
The 26-year-old actress has shared some more snaps from the swanky do to her Instagram page, proving to followers that her tragic ITV character got a fitting tribute at the send-off.
Posting on social media, Katie wrote: “Thank you to everyone that came to my partayyy.
“I’d say I’m going to miss you all but that’s a lie because I’m going to stay in touch.
“Love you all #leavingparty #endofanera #loveyoulongtime”.
The first photo in the selection of images shows the star looking sensational in a dusty pink PVC dress.
She has her arm wrapped around co-star Sally Ann Matthews, with both women beaming at the camera.
Katie also shared snaps of herself with Sam Aston, Lisa George, and embracing Rob Mallard – who plays her onscreen husband, Daniel Osbourne in the soap.
The most telling snap showed Katie pulling a sad face alongside pouting Antony Cotton as they stand behind the white flower wreath spelling out Sinead.
Guests also wore masks of her character, with Sinead balloons and cakes also on display ahead of the character being killed from the cobbles after a battle with cervical cancer.
The celebration took place at celebrity hot spot and tiki nightclub Mahiki in Manchester last Friday.
Other Corrie stars to attend included Alexandra Mardell (Emma Brooker), Nathan Graham (James Bailey), Georgia Taylor (Toyah Battersby ) and Daniel Brocklebank (Billy Mayhew).
Last week, fans of the programme were left devastated when Sinead was told that her cancer was terminal and she had just months left to live.
Katie previously revealed that she sobbed while filming her final scenes, which viewers predict will air at Christmas.
She said: “It’s heartbreaking, but it’s real life. When we were doing scenes that day, I thought that I can’t imagine this happening to me.”
Sinead initially turned down cancer treatment when she was diagnosed last September as she was told that she would need to terminate her pregnancy in order to start immediate chemotherapy.
She refused to sacrifice her and Dan’s unborn child, welcoming birth to Bertie in January before beginning immediate chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
