OLIVIA Attwood has angrily insisted she’s not a bully after being accused of abusive behaviour by Towie viewers.

The 28-year-old star came under fire from fans for “bullying” Chloe Meadows and Courtney Green on the show – but today she slammed her critics as “hypocrites”.

Some viewers had said Olivia needed to watch Jesy Nelson’s powerful doc where she admitted she tried to kill herself after cruel trolls made her life unbearable.

However, the former Love Island star told The Sun Online: “Jesy’s documentary went out the same week as the Towie episode where Pete Wicks and I were accused of being bullies. I think people were wound up by the show and understandably angry.

“But the  irony is a lot of the online people who were accusing me and Pete of being bullies and were telling us to watch Jesy’s documentary were the same people who were being abusive to us.

She added: “It is hypocritical. For the girls or the public to try and compare the two is insulting. They are worlds apart.”

The star also had a go at Towie’s Chloe Meadows[/caption]

Olivia then rounded on Chloe and Courtney, who she said had retweeting and liked comments on social media that she was a bully.

She said: “They were comparing me and my behaviour to the people on the Jesy Nelson’s documentary. What an insult to what Jesy went through and what she is trying to achieve.

“You can’t compare the two. We are on a reality show. We are supposed to have opinions about each other. That isn’t the same as victimising someone and bullying them.

“Towie doesn’t condone any bullying at all either. It is disgusting that they have tried to compare the two.”

She added: “I have had lots of social media messages slagging off Courtney and Chloe, but I would never retweet them because I think it is poor sportsmanship between reality TV stars.
“We are here doing a job, you say comments and you stick by them, you don’t try and play the victim.
“Reality TV is under a lot of strain to survive at the moment. I don’t understand why stars of reality TV shows are trying to undermine the show.”
Olivia added that she had also suffered online bullying after leaving Love Island with then-boyfriend Chris Hughes.

Olivia said Love Island fans told her she should die[/caption]

She said: “When I first came out of Love Island I had a lot of s***. Chris was the fan favourite and everyone hated me. People were messaging my sister and mum saying I should die.

“Online trolling and bullying is disgusting.  The people who send these messages to Jesy Nelson, me or anyone else are broken sick people. It’s disgusting.”

Olivia has come under fire on Towie with fans saying she and Clelia Theodorou “should be ashamed of themselves”.

One fan wrote: “Bullying and bringing down @Chloemeadows like that!! Bet they were all supporting @jesyynelsson ‘odd one out’ yet there doing the same now on #towie. Shocking.”
