A DRUGS gang member who allegedly murdered student Jodie Chesney fell through a roof as he tried to flee from police, a court heard yesterday.
Svenson Ong-a-Kwie, 19, leapt out of a window on to a lean-to shed but crashed through it and was arrested.
Ong-a-Kwie, Manuel Petrovic, 20, and two boys aged 16 and 17, are accused of stabbing Jodie, 17, on a park bench in Harold Hill, East London, in March.
Prosecutors say the defendants acted over a “pathetic” respect issue. Petrovic said in a police interview he was “deeply saddened” by Jodie’s death.
