COPS believe a five-year-old girl may have been abducted after she vanished from a park on Monday afternoon.
Dulce Maria Alavez disappeared while she playing in a park in Bridgeton, New Jersey, with her three-year-old brother at around 5pm.
Police have issued an amber alert and believe she may have been taken by a light-skinned, possibly Hispanic man who led the toddler from the playground and put her on the back seat of a red van with a sliding door and tinted windows.
The man is said to have been wearing orange trainers, red pants and a black shirt.
It is unclear if the suspect knew Dulce or is associated with her family.
Dulce had been playing on the swings with her little brother.
Mum, Noema Alavez, 19, was in a car about 30 yards away with an eight-year-old relative.
She told the cops they had all gone to get an ice-cream before heading to the playground.
