The spending spree came a week before his brother Nick claimed Aaron threatened to kill his pregnant girlfriend Lauren Kitt.

However, he hit back at the claims by tweeting that he was “astounded” by the accusations.

He said: “I do not wish harm to anyone, especially my family.”

In one snap, the star can be seen heading to his car while carrying the weapon as shop assistants follow on behind him.

A third picture shows Aaron holding the gun near the boot of his car.

Aaron also recently inherited his late father’s weapon collection, which he claims totals 500 guns.

The child star received a restraining order from brother Nick over the alleged threats to his pregnant wife yesterday.

Lashing out on social media, Aaron tweeted: “So my brother just got a restraining order against me. And I was just served lol.”

According to TMZ, Aaron has to stay at least 100 feet away from Nick, Nick’s wife and kids and other family members.

In a statement released online, the Backstreet Boys singer, 39, confirmed he had obtained a restraining order against his younger brother.

He wrote: “In light of Aaron’s increasingly alarming behaviour and his recent confession that he harbours thoughts and intentions of killing my pregnant wife and unborn child, we were left with no choice but to take every measure possible to protect ourselves and our family.”

Nick went on to say he hoped his brother would get the “proper treatment he needs before any harm comes to himself or anyone else.”

The incident led to Aaron telling his brother that he did not want to see him again.

He wrote: “Take care. @nickcarter we’re done for life,” before claiming he hadn’t seen his brother in four years and did not intend seeing him again.

However, he hit back at the claims by tweeting that he was “astounded” by the accusations.

He said: “I do not wish harm to anyone, especially my family.”

Last week, Aaron revealed on TV that he has been diagnosed with multiply personality disorder, schizophrenia, acute anxiety and manic depression.

He told US show The Doctors: “I’m prescribed Xanax, Seroquel, Gabapentin, Hydroxyzine, Trazodone, Omeprazole.”

He also cancelled tour dates this year due to a “private family matter”.

Back in 2017, Aaron was sent to rehab after being convinced to seek help for hid drug demons by the American TV show.
