LOVE Island’s Ovie Soko has revealed he was never invited to join the WhatsApp group the stars created to discuss their lives after the show.

Islanders including Harley Brash, Maura Higgins and Molly-Mae Hague have spoken about the existence of the chat thread – but the basketball ace says he was shut out.

Ovie – whose catchphrase, ironically, is “Message” – told Metro: “A lot of people have been asking about this Love Island WhatsApp group…

“This seems to be the thing. I mean, I’ve got everyone’s numbers from Love Island, but I’m not part of any group.”

He added: “Maybe there’s a group out there that I’m not part of… Are you telling me I should be part of the group?

“You’ve just let me know I’m not part of the group, oh wow. Wow.”

The 28-year-old star may not have got the message, but many Islanders have talked about the WhatsApp thread, with Harley explaining: “We have a Love Island 2019 group chat.”

She added: “We have past Islanders, who we haven’t even met. It’s great.”

And in July, Molly-Mae Hague insisted she was still a member, saying: “I’m still in that group. It’s not an active group, I’m not gonna lie.

“There’s not many conversations flowing, but I’m still in that group.”

Ovie launched his new partnership with ASOS in London last night[/caption]

Ovie last night celebrated the launch of his ASOS fashion line in east London – and as The Sun Online revealed today, girlfriend India Reynolds was banned.

Fans feared India’s no-show meant the two stars had secretly split, but pals told The Sun Online she was stopped from going because she has signed a deal with Boohoo – one of ASOS’ competitors.

An insider explained: “The truth is, India wasn’t allowed to go to Ovie’s launch because she is with a rival fashion brand.

“Just like David Beckham, who is signed to Adidas, couldn’t go to wife Victoria’s Nike launch.”
