FRESHERS’ Week has started as students in Birmingham and Manchester partied into the early hours.

Students were seen having a ball as they started this new and exciting chapter in their lives.

However, some were seen struggling by the end of the night as it was a bit too much.

As lectures are set to begin in the coming days, freshers stepped out in neon and face paint while others kept their outfits casual.

Freshers were also see having a laugh with pals, but tensions for some did start to flare.

However, many appeared to make their way home after a their night out in good spirits.
