CELEBRITIES receive a hero’s welcome as they dress up as famous figures to help beat cancer.

Stars such as Maya Jama, 25, Roman Kemp, 26, and AJ Odudu, 31, impersonated their idols at the star-studded event which aims to back cancer research.

The joint campaign, hosted by Cancer Research UK and Channel 4, aims to encourage the nation to help support life-saving research.

Famous faces included former first lady Michelle Obama, comedy icon Charlie Chaplin. and pop legend, Prince.

The TV host, 25, said: “He’s an absolute legend and pushed boundaries. We can all fundraise, dress up and stand up to cancer and beat it at its own game.”
