JAMIE Laing was comforted by pals after he opened up about ‘cheating’ on Sophie Habboo on Made In Chelsea.

In Last week’s episode, the ex Strictly star and Rosie Mai Waldon got together despite him dating the 25-year-old bombshell.

But Jamie admitted he was extremely remorseful in Monday night’s episode of the E4 reality show as he confided in close pal Alex Myttton.
He said: “It’s all just screwed. I really did like her, I underestimated how much I actually liked her, and I didn’t know if she liked me…”
Alex replied: “She is going to be upset because you guys were such good mates and you pushed for you both to become more.
“So for it to be thrown in her face, she’s just going to be feeling so stupid!”

Jamie, 30, got with Habbs during the last series of MIC and was due to go on Strictly this year.

The Sun Online reported last month that the pair had split because she didn’t trust he wouldn’t try it on with a pro dancer.

Sophie, 25, feared he’d find it tough to stay faithful and she wasn’t prepared to watch him cha-cha-cheating with a sexy female pro.

Then earlier this month, viewers saw Rosi Mai Waldon reveal that she’d already bedded Jamie behind Sophie’s back.

The Strictly curse seemed to have quickly spread, despite Jamie having to pull out of the series due to an ankle injury.

But a spokesman for glamorous Sophie insisted to The Sun Online last month: “They are very much together.”

Her claims were made just a day after Jamie declared he’d NEVER cheat on his girlfriend on the dancing show.

He shared: “We are not boyfriend and girlfriend, we are just dating. I haven’t told her I am doing the show. I am not too worried. I don’t think anyone wants to kiss me.”

In recent years, the notorious “curse” has led to a string of public break-ups as the Strictly celebs fall for their pro partners.

Earlier this year it was revealed that newly crowned champion Stacey Dooley split from her boyfriend of five years and coupled up with pro Kevin Clifton.

While comedian Seann Walsh was dumped by his girlfriend, Rebecca Humphries, after being pictured kissing partner Katya Jones – who is married to fellow dancer Neil Jones.

Eternal singer Louise Redknapp’s marriage to footy ace Jamie ended soon after she came runner-up in 2016.

Rugby hunk Ben Cohen split from his wife and got together with dance partner Kristina Rihanoff in 2013.

Kristina had previously dated her 2009 partner, boxer Joe Calzaghe, after he split from his girlfriend.

Last month, Countdown host Rachel Riley married her 2013 Strictly partner Pasha Kovalev – after leaving her husband of 15 months soon after the series.

Meanwhile, Jamie has been offered another spot on Strictly Come Dancing next year.
