STACEY Dooley is returning to Strictly Come Dancing as the host of the live 2020 arena tour.
The 32-year-old journalist won the BBC dance competition last year, and will be the face of the 32-date event off the back of this year’s series of the show.
Stacey is the first confirmed name attached to the tour, with it is yet to be announced which of the 2019 celebrity contestants will be signing up – and if all four judges will be present.
Teasing that she might even have a comeback boogie, the star said: “I’m so excited to be joining the Strictly gang again and can’t wait to experience it from a different perspective!
“I’m really looking forward to hosting the tour as I know it’ll be a blast.
“I had such an amazing time last year, I hope I’ll find a way to get those dancing shoes back on again too!”
The official Strictly Come Dancing tour is a much loved spin-off for the TV programme, with fans able to watch the dazzling routines from all of their favourite couples live before voting for who will take home the iconic Glitterball trophy each night.
The judges also feature to give their feedback and scores after each dance.
Although she won Strictly last year, Stacey was also hit by the infamous Strictly curse when she fell for her professional dance partner Kevin Clifton.
The TV favourite was loved-up with long-term boyfriend Sam Tucknott when she signed up to the show, but the pair split after five years together shortly after her win.
Stacey raised eyebrows when she swiftly moved on with her thrice-divorced partner Kevin, who she is still with now.
Speaking out about their romance in a recent interview, Stacey said: “What I am happy to say is Kev’s amazing, I’m happy, life happens, I’ve got an amazing career and I’m very lucky.”
Stacey and Kevin confirmed their relationship shortly after Stacey’s ex, Sam, told The Sun Online that he accused Kevin of being a “rat” and a “snake” in a FaceTime video call after discovering he had been dating his ex.

In this year’s series of Strictly, Kevin was outraged when bosses partnered him with 60-year-old Anneka Rice, the oldest contestant this year who towers above him.
While Kevin has now insisted that he is “very happy and impressed” with the Welsh TV presenter, The Sun Online revealed that he is secretly “fuming” to not have landed a fan favourite like Catherine Tyldesley or Alex Scott.
Kevin has previously been partnered with favourites such as Louise Redknapp, 44, Susanna Reid, 48, and Frankie Bridge, 30, and a source told us that he was “furious” at now being reduced to a “joke act” by show bosses.
