I CAN exclusively confirm that The Pussycat Dolls group – headed by Nicole Scherzinger – are making their comeback.

More than a decade after they announced they were going on a hiatus to pursue solo music projects, they are returning with a massive tour and talk of new music.

A source close to the US group, who had hits including Buttons, Don’t Cha and Jai Ho, said: “Nicole has long turned down offers for a reunion but with the ten-year anniversary of their hiatus passing, she finally said she was ready.

“Nicole was made a multi-million pound offer to re-join the group and was given a huge advance which made it impossible for her to turn down.”

She will be joined by other original Pussycat Dolls Melody Thornton, Kimberly Wyatt, Ashley Roberts, Carmit Bachar and Jessica Sutta. The group will be announcing a worldwide tour in the coming months, including a handful of UK gigs — pencilled in for 2020.

Another insider added: “The tour is going to be huge and the group will be playing their greatest hits. But there has been talk of the possibility of them recording new music.

“It’s in the early stages but now they’re going to be back together, a couple of them, including Nicole, have said they’d be open to working on some new sounds together.”

The group are also being lined up for a number of mega-money commercial deals which will coincide with the announcement later this year.

Nicole hinted a reunion was on the cards in the summer. She said: “I miss touring. That’s why I’d love to one day go back out so it could be a party.

“When I went solo after, I really enjoyed touring with my dancers and I was like ‘God I miss my girls’. I’d love for us to be able to get back out and just enjoy it and breathe.”

The cat’s well and truly out of the bag now, Nic.

AS SIMON Cowell heads to 60 next month, he’s looking better than ever after losing almost three stone.

The X Factor mogul has been inundated with compliments about his trim new look, but his co-star Louis Walsh is not a fan.

Louis said at BBC Radio 2’s Live In Hyde Park on Sunday: “He’s lost an awful lot of weight. He looks too skinny now.”

But it’s not all bad, as the Irish music manager said he was impressed by Simon’s ability to roll back the years. Louis added: “Sharon Osbourne’s got a new face, Simon’s got a new face. It’s brilliant. He obviously looks after himself a lot. He looked terrible last year. He did, let’s be honest.”

Now, now, Louis. Simon has only just let you back on The X Factor panel . . .

Ed: If I could have a word with Wiley

AFTER being berated and bullied by Wiley on Twitter, Ed Sheeran has finally set the record straight.

The pair collaborated on You in 2011 but appeared to fall out after Wiley accused Ed of using grime to get Take Me Back To London – his single with Stormzy – to No1 last month.

Wiley had also claimed Ed refused to do another song with him – which the singer has now denied.

Referring to another track they both featured on, Ed told him on Twitter: “You wanted to release If I Could the same week as my debut single on a major label and I merely asked if you could move to a week before or a week after, which you did.”

Wiley reckoned the title of Ed’s track You Need Me, I Don’t Need You was aimed at him.

But Ed said that he wrote the song when he was 15 and it was about “teenage angst”.

He finished the statement by saying he is “excited” about the release of the grime artist’s album Godfather 3 next month.

I just hope Wiley accepts the olive branch and stops the irrational tweets.

“The singer is releasing new Pretenders album Hate For Sale next year – but she fears the popularity of rock is dying out.

She said: “I don’t know where rock ’n’ roll is placed at the moment in popular culture. It comes round in cycles. My message is always, ‘Get a guitar’.”

I already have one, Chrissie – and I’m up for a jam whenever you are.

I hate to use the word spirituality, but just a belief in that we’re all connected.”

“As Genevieve left, Brooklyn told her he would follow her on Instagram, and made good on his promise the very next day.
