SIMON Cowell branded magician Darcy Oake “so good looking” after his mind-blowing box trick during tonight Britain Got Talent The Champions.

In dramatic scenes the hunk Canadian, 27, was handcuffed and locked inside a box 20ft in the air before having to race against the clock to get himself free before the box explodes.

He then completely disappeared before popping up on the other side of the studio.

After his performance Simon, who was completely blown away, told him he was “the ultimate showman” and “so good looking”.

He gushed: “I don’t know what quite happened here. But I have got to tell you Darcy that apart from being a great guy, a true competitor, you are the ultimate showman.

“I mean every time you come on it blows my mind. Unbelievable. And you are so good looking.

Amanda Holden was just as gobsmacked and could barely get her words out as she watched it.

Discussing his act before it aired she admitted she was worried Alesha might go into labour because it was so dramatic.

She said: “I joked to her that I was worried she might go into labour as she was so on edge during the performance.”

Those watching at home were also very taken by the illusionist and took to Twitter to gush over him.

One person wrote: “Darcy Oake if you could illusion yourself over to me that would be grand. Amazing Act ! #BGTChampions.”

A second added: “Omg #BGTChampions how the hell did @DarcyOakeeven do that that.  #Amazing.”

While a third tweeted: “If @DarcyOake doesn’t make it to the final it will be a sin #BGTChampions #DarcyOake #Fact.”
