NIGEL Farage has refused to appear on the BBC again after being treated like a “war criminal”.

The Brexit Party leader says the corporation is now “begging” him to appear on flagship politics shows.

The Brexit Party boss praised The Sun’s fair coverage of all parties, while chatting to Dan Wootton his Friday Drivetime show on TalkRADIO

He compared his recent appearance on The Andrew Marr Show in the run-up to the European Elections to being like an accused Nazi at the Nuremberg trials following the Second World War.

Speaking to The Sun’s Dan Wootton on talkRadio’s Friday Drivetime, Mr Farage said: “I appeared with Andrew Marr in the European Elections when we were heading the polls in the European Elections and I was treated like a war criminal. It was just extraordinary.

“You’d have thought I was at Nuremberg for something awful I’d done.

“They’re now begging me every week on email to reappear so far I keep telling them I’m washing my hair. I don’t think we need the BBC as much as we used to.

“I think their behaviour has been disgusting at every level.

“They are utterly biased. But mercifully fewer people watch them or listen to them. May that trend continue.”

He praised The Sun for leading the way in its politics coverage and not ignoring parties like his.

Mr Farage added: “You’re ahead of the rest of the newspapers in what we used to call Fleet Street – you see it, you get it because you’re in touch with your people.”
