LOVE Island fans have been left horrified as Greg O’Shea’s pals posted a string of snake emojis on Amber Gill’s Instagram feed.

It appears the former couple’s split has clearly taken a bitter turn after the Irishman’s friends were caught trolling Amber on social media yesterday.

Taking to Instagram to announce her £1million Miss Pap deal, Amber couldn’t contain her excitement as she shared the news with her followers.

But the happy announcement was soon tarnished by Greg’s friend, Luke Moylan, who left a string of snake emojis in the comment section.

The post didn’t go amiss with dedicated Amber supporters as they jumped to the 22-year-old’s defence.

One hit back: “@lukemoylan leave her alone.”

While another wrote on Twitter: “Greg was telling the public ‘he’s still mad about Amber’ he’s clearly telling his friends something else coz they have the audacity to leave a snake comment on her insta, I hope your fakeness gets exposed soon”.

A third said: “Greg’s friends are so annoying. Why are they leaving snake emojis under Amber’s recent picture? Amber was too nice about the Greg situation, he deserves to be dragged!”

Last week, The Sun exclusively revealed that show winners Amber and Greg, 24, had split just five weeks after sharing the £50,000 prize.

Although their breakup hasn’t been the most amicable, with Greg claiming he didn’t dump her by text while Amber took to Loose Women to confirm he did.

Greg appeared on RTE One’s Late Late Show in Dublin with former co-star Maura Higgins to discuss the split.

He said: “We’re mad about each other, what’s not to be mad about? She’s gorgeous, smart funny, she’s the Queen of Love Island for a reason but you need to be realistic about the situation.

“She lives in the UK, every brand wants to work with her, every event wants her there, of course she deserves all of it and I decided to come back to Ireland and do my thing here.”

Meanwhile, Amber appeared on the ITV daytime show, saying: “From my point of view I still wanted to make it work.

“There was a call a few days prior just chatting- not specifically to do with that. But definitely on that day it was like a text.

“We were texting each other, but that’s why I had to cancel.”

The pair got together in the last few weeks of Love Island after Amber was cruelly dumped by Michael Griffiths.

However, Amber was left “devastated” last week after the rugby player called it quits after leaving the famous villa.

A source told us: “Greg has broken up with Amber and is blaming their busy schedules and now they want to focus on their careers.”

The Geordie lass had been looking forward to reuniting with Greg in Dublin before he delivered the shock news by text.

“Amber is devastated,” said the insider. “She thought he was a lovely guy, but he’s made his feelings clear over text, which isn’t very sensitive.

Since then, fans of the beautician have demanded for Greg to give her half of the prize money back after coupling up with Amber 12 days before the dating show came to an end.
