Chris Hughes brands Katie Hopkins a ‘b***h’ for calling Jesy Nelson a ‘chubber’ – then deletes tweet

CHRIS Hughes branded Katie Hopkins a “b***h” as she trolled Jesy Nelson on Twitter during the singer’s documentary about being severely bullied.

Chris reacted with fury when the 44-year-old called his girlfriend “chubber” online after Jesy revealed she’d starved herself and once tried to take her own life.

Mum-of-three Katie also labelled Jesy’s band ‘Packet Mix’ in her bizarre tweet as Odd One Out aired on BBC One.

She wrote: “Packet Mix have still got a chubber in their ranks. Less Little Mix. More Pick n Mix.”

In a since deleted message Chris, 23, hit back on the site: “b***h” followed by a middle finger emoji.

Katie jumped at the chance for a spat and declared: “No, my love. You are right. This is Twitter.

“And you were sharing your opinion to which you are perfectly entitled.

“Unlike others, I accept that if you put yourself out there, not all the comments you receive will be positive.”

Chris typed back: “I wasn’t lying.”

Most fans were shocked by Katie’s timing as one said: “Unbelievable. Kids are taking their own lives. And that’s all you have to say?”

Chris supported brave Jesy, 25, as she made the candid film to highlight the impact of social media trolling, and earlier this week he told fans: “My girlfriend is the best motha f*****g role model on this planet”

He took part in the documentary last night and spoke about Jesy’s reluctance to be around him without make-up on.

The reality star also showered Jesy with compliments, insisting every feature on her face was beautiful but the singer laughed off his praise.

She had earlier told how she’d she tried to kill herself after cruel online trolls made life unbearable and starved herself during her lowest points.

Jesy also spoke to the heartbroken parents of 16-year-old Sian Waterhouse from Morecambe, who died by suicide as a result of online trolling.

Jesy walked around the untouched bedroom of the teenager driven to suicide and was left in tears during the emotional visit to Sian’s parents, Ann and Pud Waterhouse.

Sian’s stepfather Phillip Noyland found the teen hanged at their home in February 2018.

Mr Noyland told an inquest into her death: “She was a normal child who loved school and was interested in everything. She was always having fun and laughing and joking. She was fine until she got a mobile phone for Christmas, she was always on it.

“But leading up to February 2018, there were some issues with some other children over bullying.

“On February 18 Sian went to Preston with a friend and got home in the afternoon. She seemed fine and was looking forward to her friend’s party the following Saturday.

“I checked on her a couple times and everything seemed fine, she was making tea for her and friend. I was in bed later that evening when I heard the back door shut and what I thought was Sian coming upstairs.

“I texted to see if she was ok and had no response. I went down to check on her and on the dining table and there was a note and I saw her.”
