IT’S a tragic time for Mel next week as she wants to bury her son, but Phil is determined to make it as hard as possible.
Here’s what’s happening next week…

- Bobby’s visions of Lucy continue to haunt him
Troubled Bobby Beale continues to have hallucinations of his dead sister Lucy.
He hopes that they might stop when Max says he can move in with him.
But when Bobby asks if his friend Imran can stay too, Jack overhears and puts his foot down.
He says there is absolutely no way the teen killer is living under his roof.
Bobby is crushed and Max is filled with guilt as Bobby heads back to the Beale house.
Kathy is worried about how uneasy Bobby is.
Unknown to her, the visions are still haunting him.
- Phil interferes in Hunter’s funeral
Phil and Sharon notice that money is going missing from the E20 account.
It doesn’t take them long to figure out it’s Mel and they cut her off.
When Mel realises what’s happened and she’s unable to pay for Hunter’s funeral, she finds Sharon and kicks off.

- Jay has some bad news for Mel
Phil demands that Jay finds someone else to organise Hunter’s funeral after the teen shot Ben and held Louise at gunpoint.
Later, with no access to any money, Mel talks to Jay about scaling back Hunter’s funeral.
Jay breaks the news that he can no longer arrange the funeral.

- Mel and Sharon have a furious fall out
Tensions between Mel and the Mitchells are at an all time high in The Vic and there’s a huge argument which prompts Mel to storm out.
Sharon calls round at Mel’s to try and put things right, but after the events of the day, the pair end up at each other’s throats.
- Linda is a fish out of water
Linda is excited for Ollie’s first day at school and is determined to make friends with the other mums at the gates.
But she’s stunned by their hostility and Chantelle warns her that they can be extremely cliquey.
Later, she shares her concerns with Mick.

- Iqra and Keegan sort a business deal
Keegan has business on his mind and is keen to help out at Walford East to use it to his own advantage.
However his plan is quickly scuppered by Habiba.
But Iqra’s encouragement surprises Keegan and they come to a mutually beneficial deal.

- Callum is nervous when Ben asks him on a date
Callum is a bag of nerves when Ben invites him out for a drink.
Will they be able to put recent events behind them and make it work?
- Bobby is in danger
After spending the night asleep in a park, Bobby heads back to the Square.
His behaviour worries Callum who asks him if he’s okay, but this causes him to flee.
As Bobby tries to confront his past and come to terms with everything that’s happened, he puts himself in a dangerous position.
- Hunter is laid to rest
It’s the day of Hunter’s funeral and Mel finds herself overwhelmed with grief.
She finds support in Lisa and manages to compose herself.
Meanwhile, at the Mitchells’ Phil is adamant that none of them will go to the funeral, leaving Louise torn.

- Phil and Jay fall out over Mel
When Phil finds out that Jay went behind his back and helped Mel with Hunter’s funeral after his warning, he goes on the warpath.
