Coronation Street’s David Platt will stab his male rapist during a prison riot

- in Gossip

HE’S already been sent to prison thanks to his brother Nick Tilsley. But things are about to get even darker for David Platt.

I’m told that Coronation Street viewers will see a riot at the prison where David – played by Jack P Shepherd – is being held.

David Platt does not answer when he’s asked if he stabbed Josh Tucker

And during the clashes David comes face-to-face with Josh Tucker, the man who raped him, who is stabbed in a melee.

To make matters worse, David’s family watch the drama unfold on the news as police surround the prison.

David manages to call his fiancee Shona from inside the jail during the riot.

He tells her Josh has been stabbed – and it doesn’t look like he is going to make it.

But when she asks whether he stabbed him, David does not answer.

It seems we’re returning to Coronation Street’s dark days – like when former show boss Kate Oates was in charge.

David was jailed for fraud only to watch his brother, and co-conspirator, Nick Tilsley be told he can walk free
