MANDY Dingle will arrive back in Emmerdale later this week, alongside her son, Vinny.
And the popular character is returning with a bang – as she walks in on her cousin Marlon’s wife, Jessie, having a steamy snogging session with her ex-husband, Al.
Mandy obviously wastes no time sharing her views on what she’s witnessed, but it’s not yet known if she’ll be the bearer of bad news to Marlon.
With Sandra Marvin, who plays the shamed former head-teacher, leaving soon it look like Mandy could indeed spill the beans.
But Mandy has something else on her mind and it soon becomes clear that she and Vinny are still hiding something big from the rest of the Dingle clan.
When they left after their brief visit to the village earlier this year, Vinny was seen asking his mum why she hadn’t told them the real reason behind their return. Mandy replied saying it wasn’t the right time just yet.
So is now the right time?
Actress Lisa Riley – who is returning to the Dales full time after 18 years away – recently teased a hint to This Morning hosts Ruth and Eamonn, telling them to keep an eye on Mandy’s bag.
When Ruth asked her about the designer bag Mandy had been seen with, Lisa replied: “Obviously they look like they’re Chanel, but they’re Channel, they’re Channel. Yeah, they’re fakes.”
Spoilers for next week have revealed that Mandy and her cousin Aaron will clash when Aaron pretends to burn a stash of hidden cash she has.
After Mandy is seen desperately searching for a bag, Chas becomes suspicious and catches Mandy with the money and some casino chips.
More in Emmerdale
The Dingles are furious with her for lying to them, but Aaron says he can help her get them changed. Mandy is delighted and meets Aaron at the scrap yard.
However, her mood changes when he tells her he’s taking a cut and – when Mandy loses it with him – he chucks the bag into a burning bin.
But everything is not as it seems. Then again, whenever is it in Emmerdale?
