A BABY boy is fighting for his life after being thrown from a bridge into a river.

The little boy was rescued by firefighters after he was hurled into the River Irwell in Radcliffe, Greater Manchester

He is said to be in a critical condition.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
