Strictly Come Dancing’s Jamie Laing was left in tears at his early exit as he doesn’t think he’ll be asked back next year
The Made In Chelsea star, 30, was forced to drop out of the dance competition after injuring his foot during the launch show’s opening group number.

Appearing on This Morning today, Jamie admitted he was left in tears after being told he had to pull out.
He said: “I cried. I just wanted to be Madonna and dance. I said to everyone, it’s a dancing show, why am I getting so upset about it?
“It’s so embarrassing. It’s my mum’s fave show in the world and I didn’t tell her I was doing it. She found out when I was on Loose Women and it was revealed.”
The McVitie’s heir , who was briefly partnered with professional dancer Oti Masbuse, went on to reveal how he had damaged his plantar fascia, which he felt “pop” while sliding along the floor in the group routine.

Jamie added: “I had a feeling that it wasn’t good. I went to four different specialists to find one of them that would say it was going to be OK. But everyone went, ‘It’s just not going to be OK’.”

Phil asked: “Can you skate?”
Phil said: “There is the jungle coming up.”

A show source said: “It’s touch and go for Jamie and bosses are waiting to see how his results look after he gets a proper X-ray done.
“Producers are hoping he’s just landed awkwardly during the group dance and tweaked something rather than it being a more serious injury.
“They’ll know if his Strictly journey is over before it’s even really begun in the next 24 hours or so.”
