Deep Water series 2 – here’s everything you need to know

DEEP Water has captivated the nation on ITV, but the show will be concluding its first series with episode six next week.

And now, of course, fans are wondering whether there’ll be a second season of the hit crime show. Here’s all we know so far…

Has a second series been confirmed yet?

Given that Deep Water has yet to end its first series, it’ll remain unclear whether or not the show will be brought back to ITV.

There’s no doubt that the exhilarating TV program has gained a lot of attention in recent weeks, with fans calling it one of the most thrilling shows on television, but have ratings been strong enough for it to land another series?

And with the way things have been unfolding on the show, it’s hard to tell who could possibly reprise their role for season two.

What happens in episode five?

Horrified from the attack, Roz makes her way home and sees an outrageous Joanne waiting for her.

And with nobody to confide in, Roz makes the conscious decision to tell Scott about Wayne, who then promises to retrieve the footage.

Elsewhere, Lisa goes on to find Joe in a local bar and carefully watches as he drinks and makes flirtatious remarks with the barmaid.

When she wakes up the next morning and comes to the realisation that he has not come home, she immediately fears the worst.

Now that her daughter had returned, Kate begins to struggle in keeping her web of lies intact, and things start to have a negative outcome for her.

With the final episode nearing, it’s bound to give us clues as to what we could potentially expect from season two

What will happen in episode six?

Roz is expected to finally confess to Lisa about what really happened between her and Wayne, before deciding to report it to the police.

Meanwhile, Fergus’ discovery of an unconscious Kate sees her rushed into hospital after she partied heavy with plenty of drinking the night prior.

When she’s released from hospital, she manages to convince Guy to stay for Fergus’ birthday bash.

It becomes apparent that Lisa is increasingly suspicious of Kate and her role in Fergus’ health, and Kate and Guy finally accept the damage they caused to their family.

When is Deep Water on ITV?

Deep Water continues with episode five tonight (September 11, 2019) at 9pm on ITV.

The series will run for six episodes, which means there’s only one week left.
