STRICTLY Come Dancing star Catherine Tyldesley has admitted she has had a ticking off from the show’s head honchos for joking around too much during training.
The former Corrie actress, 35, who played feisty Eva Price in the Weatherfield-set soap for seven years, made the admission during an appearance on today’s Lorraine.

Chatting to host Lorraine Kelly about her relationship with her professional dancer Johannes Radebe, she revealed: “He is hilarious, he is the most beautiful dancer and he is really patient. He is still disciplined but we are already getting into trouble for laughing too much.”
Speaking about the experience of being in the Strictly bubble, she added:”It’s joyous but it is so much harder than I thought. I am a huge fan of the show and I have often watched it and thought, ‘Oh I can do that’ but it is so much harder than I thought. But I am having the best time.”
The mum of one , who is currently appearing in BBC comedy Scarborough alongside Jason Manford, went on to reveal she had “never had the confidence” to dance before now.

“The older I am getting, the more I am like, ‘Do you know what I am just going to go for it and I am just going to do it.’ My son Alfie loves to dance and he loves the show, so he is really excited.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Catherine admitted he would consider returning to the cobbles that launched her career one day.
When Lorraine mentioned how the door had been left open for Eva – the character was last seen leaving for France in the back of a taxi – Catherine said: “I miss the people. The cast and the crew. We all stay in touch.
“I feel like a distant cousin that might come back at some point. Absolutely. I love the show – never say never.”
Catherine is considered a front-runner in this year’s competition and has been accused of being a “triple threat” by her ex Strictly Come Dancing co-star Jamie Laing.
And once she starts to pick up some dance steps, Jamie, 30, thinks there will be no stopping her.
Speaking to The Sun Online before he was forced to withdraw from the series following a foot injury in rehearsals, he joked of Catherine: “She’s a triple threat, she’s like ‘I can sing, act and now I can dance, I’m a triple threat.”
However Catherine, 35, revealed her husband Tom – who is a personal trainer – isn’t as sure about her abilities as Jamie.
She explained: “He thinks this is hilarious. A few weeks ago, cause I’ve only ever done weight training really, he was like ‘we need to get you fast on your feet, let’s get you in, do a bit of cardio’.
“We did literally a handful of sessions and he was like ‘now go fast’ and I said ‘no this is fast’ but apparently you’re built with fast fibres or slow fibres and I think mine are extra slow.”
But singing her praises once more Jamie – who rose to fame on E4 show Made in Chelsea – said: “Cath is really good though.
“I promise you, she’s just got swagger, she walks in and every girls’ like ‘here she comes’.”
But Catherine joked in reply: “I just think it’s cause I’m bottom heavy.”
Catherine has adopted a healthy living regime for the last few years after being overweight as a teen.
But with the endless hours of dancing she’ll be doing, Catherine is loving the fact she can eat what she wants and not worry about her waistline.

She said: “I spoke to Gemma Atkinson and was like ‘babes, help me out’ and she just said ‘only thing to do is let go of your inhibitions and enjoy it’.
“Everybody else who I know has done the show has said the same thing. Also, she was like ‘look after your body, eat as much as you can, sleep as much as you can’.
“And so far she’s right because I can’t stop eating. Burning so many calories, living my best life.”
