A DAD has been banned from all football matches for three years for slamming a steward’s head in a door, leaving him concussed.
David Morgan, 48, flew into a drunken rage when a fan argued with his teenage son at a Cardiff v Huddersfield game.

Prosecutor Matthew Thomas said Morgan was removed from the ground when the steward noticed a fight among Cardiff fans.
Mr Thomas said: “While outside the ground he acted aggressively and used words to the effect of: “I will take you all on”.
The court was shown video of Morgan charging the door – and slamming it on the steward’s head, which left him bleeding and concussed.
Martha Smith-Higgins, defending, said: “He had recently split from his wife of 29 years two months before.
“It was the first time in two months he had met with his son.
“Another supporter started arguing with his son. He then started to defend him.

District Judge Stephen Harmes said the incident could have led to some “very serious” injuries.
He said: “I’m appalled by what I’ve seen and I think anyone who watched that would be appalled.”
Morgan, of Cardiff, also got 100 hours’ unpaid work after admitting assault at the city’s crown court.
