The beast – born with a small nose and mouth – was filmed by shocked locals in Villa Ana in the north of Argentina.

However the unfortunate animal, which was unable to support the weight of its own head,  only lived for a couple of hours.

YouTube footage shows the calf lying on the grass with its grumpy “human-like” face peering up at the camera.

According to a local specialist, the calf was born with a malformed skull which is to blame for its unusual appearance.

Genetics expert Nicolas Magnago said that “it could be a rare genetic mutation”.

He added the shocking “mutation is a change in the DNA sequencing that was transferred to the cow’s offspring.

It was a spontaneous mutation caused by the action of mutagens, physical, chemical or biological agents, which altered its genetic sequencing.”

In June, 2017 we told how another calf born with “human features” was being worshipped by villagers in India who believed it is an avatar of a Hindu God.

The calf was born with eyes, nose and ears resembling those of a human in an animal shelter in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, northern India.

And in March this year, we reported how a piglet stunned experts after being born with no hair and an ‘elephant trunk’ on its face.

A farmer, named only as Li, was shocked when his mother pig gave birth to the deformed beast along with around 20 normal piglets.
