A WHITE van man targeted by Labour MP Emily Thornberry over a St George’s flag on his house has urged MPs to call a general election and “sort out Brexit once and for all”.
The Shadow Foreign Secretary, who was forced to resign five years ago for posting a picture of patriotic Dan Ware’s house, told BBC Question Time this week how she would negotiate an EU deal but then reject it to remain.

Dad-of-three Dan, 41, said it just shows Labour “don’t know what they are talking about” and backed a general election to give Boris Johnson full support to deliver Brexit.
Dan, who voted to leave the EU, said: “We need to sort Brexit out once and for all and the only way to do that is to call an election.
“I can’t for the life of me understand why Jeremy Corbyn has spent months calling for an election and is now backing away from one.
“Another vote is the only way to finish Corbyn off once and for all.
‘DELIVER THE PEOPLE’S WILL’
“We need to show the EU we mean business and Boris needs a mandate so let’s get him one by throwing an election to the people.
“Boris needs some backing so we can deliver the will of people like me who wanted us to the leave the EU.”
Dan, who lives in Rochester, Kent, said Ms Thornberry’s logic was “all over the place”.
He added: “She is very good at sneering at other people’s lives or ideas but her own thoughts on moving Britain forward are ludicrous.”

In 2014, Ms Thornberry tweeted a picture of his terraced home complete with three England flags — which he had hung for the World Cup in Brazil — and the car dealer’s white van.
The pic came with a caption saying: “Image from #Rochester.”
Dan said: “I will never forget how insulting Emily Thornberry was to me and Britain’s working- class voters.”
