JAMIE Laing’s pals have begged Strictly Come Dancing bosses to give him another chance on next year’s series after he was forced to withdraw.
The Made in Chelsea star was devastated to have to pull out of the 2019 series after injuring his foot during the group dance on the launch show.

He has been replaced by former Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher, but Jamie’s friends are eager for the 30-year-old to be given a second chance on the 2020 series.
After Saturday’s show, Jamie posted a picture of him hugging his pro partner Oti Mabuse and lamenting what could have been.
He wrote: “If only @otimabuse . You are a star!!”
His Made in Chelsea co-star Alex Mytton wrote: “Saw you dancing mate and if you were an emoji you’d be this next year surely!!”

His other co-star Oliver Proudlock added: “Cute couple. Next year animal!”
Vicky Pattison posted: “Next year babes” with a love heart emoji while London Hughes added: “You’ll kill em next year Jamie.”
Meanwhile Jamie took to social media to congratulate Kelvin, 35, on his addition to this year’s series.
He said: “I just want to give a big congratulations and shout out to Kelvin Fletcher who’s taking my place in Strictly this year.

“Buddy, thank you for your message, I’m sending you one back because obviously you’re going to have the best time ever and you’re going to rock the dance floor.
“Plus, you have Oti, so go on, kill it. Good luck!”
Taking to his Instagram Story after the news broke, Kelvin said: “Hey guys, just thought I’d say how just absolutely I’m overwhelmed by the response I’ve been receiving so far. I can’t believe it, it’s a dream come true.

“Those who know me, after a few beers, I love music and I love to dance, but that doesn’t mean I’ll be any good!
“Once you put choreography and a few dance moves, who knows?”
Kelvin went on to acknowledge that he was joining the show under “bittersweet” circumstances as he expressed his sympathy to Jamie.
